Single Vineyard. Northerly aspect, our most Westerly vines. Loam over clay soil. Cool temperate frost free.
REGION
Tamar Valley, Northern Tasmania.
MAKING
Fruit was whole bunch pressed directly to barrel and wild fermented. The wine was matured in 1 & 2 year French oak for 8 months with careful lees stirring.
MOOD
Straw coloured with flecks of green. A chiselled nose, with sea spray and florals
underlining taught stone fruit aromas & subtle French oak spice with classic Tasmanian lingering acidity.
